TM900 - nearly Superb

As a TV Broadcast Engineer, i do know when things are "right". In any style, there have to be compelled to be compromises.
All of those tiny cameras are compromises. I bought the TM-900 for one reason -it's a thousand line resolution
in 1080P. you cannot bit that for a minimum of another $2K. What i used to be shocked regarding is that Panasonic went
all-out attempting to high the competition. Say, compared with a Canon M41 (comparable worth range) the Panasonic
has a much better viewfinder and LCD screen. The Canon does not have any focus ring and therefore the TM's is excellent and
versatile. The controls for manual adjustment are light-years higher on the Panasonic. The TM has Person
identification, not simply face ID. This one is amazing- the TM permits you to use the camera's within processing
chips whereas you edit with their editor- to hyper-speed the video conversion when creating DVD's and Blu-Rays.
That's progressive engineering. The TM is also simply beautiful-looking whereas the Canon is completely low-end (the
camera body itself).
I bought each -why? as a result of the low-light performance of the TM is just average. It's fine and in most shooting
you'd do well. The Canon M41 has their new HD professional sensor (same at their 2 best pro-consumer cams)and sees
exactly yet as humans do. It's amazingly smart at low-light. the TM additionally contains a fine quality of 17MBS in it's
AVHCD regular HD recording. the Canon will 24MBS. The Canon is superior when shooting in 1080i (it's high level).
The TM's best 1080i AVHCD level of 17MBS is extremely smart...excellent.. simply not excellent. Kick it up a notch to 1080P
and you are speechless. Wow! it is a high-res still photograph-that's moving. however bear in mind, 1080P on the TM is
actually higher than the HD spec. Uh huh. So, your editor won't handle it. You TV won't handle it. When you
render 1080P from the TM onto a AVHCD DVD to play HD on your BLue-Ray player, it's superb trying.
Also, you'll play the native video files out of a TM-900 and M41 directly out of an honest Hard-drive media player.
The editing and storage software with the TM is nice. It extremely is. swish operator and burns out DVD's and
AVHCD disks with ease. So, the TM is my go-to camera and therefore the Canon is employed on condition that i am shooting in natural low-light.
2.5 thumbs up on the Panasonic.. a true Pro-sumer camera at a good worth. Bravo Panasonic.
